R.A Kartini is undeniably the most famous national heroine, especially in relation to the strive for Indonesian Women's rights equality. In my opinion, she was truly remarkable woman figure in Indonesia. She inspired women in the nation not to have any fear and doubt to have equal rights as men, especially in education. Being the pioneer in such idealism was not easy. Yet, she was rather fortunate to be able to do such uncommon action for a woman in that time. She had a supportive family and husband, which I think, enabled her to gain a privilege to have better education and access to reference from abroad on feminist movement.
